For our beautiful bride, the inspiration was Old Hollywood elegance with a modern, editorial edge—timeless glamour meets modern radiance. Together, we designed a bridal look that was bold, confident, and sophisticated, yet soft enough to complement the rustic beauty of the venue.

The Skincare Foundation: Radiance Starts Beneath the Makeup

As with every Magda Designs Beauty bride, the process began months before the big day. The bride started her bridal skin prep four months prior, working closely with Magda on a customized skincare program to ensure her complexion was healthy, hydrated, and luminous.

Her regimen included a series of Dermaplaning and Hydrafacial treatments, each tailored with Vitamin C and Hydrating Boosters to refine texture, enhance glow, and promote deep hydration. This not only improved the overall health of her skin but also ensured the makeup applied flawlessly and lasted all day.

Skin Prep on the Wedding Day

On the morning of the wedding, the skin was prepped using ZO® Skin Health essentials —

• ZO Hydrating Mist to refresh and calm the skin,

• Daily Power Defense to strengthen the barrier,

• and Instant Pore Refiner to create a smooth, even canvas.

Throughout the application, Magda misted with ZO Hydrating Mist between steps to maintain balance and radiance without heaviness.

For priming, Magda layered Makeup by Mario Surreal Skin Foundation Spray and Milk Makeup Hydro-Grip Hydrating Primer, allowing each layer to dry fully before applying the next. This technique ensured that the foundation gripped beautifully while maintaining a supple, hydrated finish — the perfect base for long-lasting bridal wear.

Complexion: A Soft, Luminous Glow

The flawless complexion was achieved using Natasha Denona’s Hy-Glam Hydrating & Blurring Luminous Longwear Serum Foundation. This foundation provided the ideal balance of dew and blur, leaving the skin luminous, healthy, and softly perfected.

To set and define, Magda used Huda Beauty Loose Baking & Blurring Powder on the T-zone and under-eye area, working the powder gently into the skin to avoid dryness while maintaining that airbrushed, soft-focus finish.

To enhance radiance, Dior Forever Glow Maximizer Longwear Liquid Highlighter was applied strategically on the high points of the face, paired with Yves Saint Laurent Make Me Blush 12H Blurring Liquid Blush in 80 Fig Fantasy — adding a fresh, romantic tint with a luminous finish.

Eyes: Sculpted, Soft, and Cinematic

For the eyes, Magda used a combination of Natasha Denona Glam Palette and the Eye Sculpt Texture & Tone Eyeshadow Palette, blending cool neutral tones to create sculpted dimension with a soft, vintage feel.

Liner was kept classic and precise with e.l.f. Expert Liquid Liner in Jet Black, enhancing definition without overpowering the look.

Lashes were customized using a combination of Kiss Falscara Lash Clusters and the Kiss Ever-EZ Lashes Trio Lash Set (Small & Medium Combo). This custom lash layering technique enhanced the outer edges of the eyes, lifting and elongating the shape while keeping the lash line full and seamless. The result added just enough drama for the naked eye and photography, without appearing heavy or artificial.

Brows were softly defined using Kevyn Aucoin Micro Sculpting Brow Gel in Brunette, providing shape and hold while maintaining a natural finish.

The focal point of the entire look was the lip — a true Old Hollywood scarlet red.Magda used the NARS Powermatte High-Intensity Long-Lasting Lip Pencil in “Cruella.”

This passionate shade of red saturated the lips with rich pigment, creating a bold, statement color that perfectly balanced the soft eye and glowing complexion. The formula’s precision and staying power made it ideal for long wear — through champagne toasts, laughter, and late-night dancing.

The Hair: Retro Hollywood Waves with a Fall Twist

To complete the look, the bride’s hair was styled in classic retro Hollywood waves with a soft modern flow. Each wave was polished yet relaxed, creating that perfect blend of sophistication and ease — timeless in photos, effortless in person.

The rich brunette tones of her hair reflected beautifully against the golden barn lighting, bringing the entire rustic-meets-glamour aesthetic full circle.
